School Closings

In the event of severe weather, the director will decide whether to hold school, keeping the safety of children in mind. If GMA is closed, this information will be available on: AM radio KCMO (810), KMBZ (980), FM stations KCMO (94.9), KLTH (99.7), KCTV Channel 5, KCMO Channel 9, and WDAF Channel 4. The GMA website and outgoing voicemail will also announce a school closing.

In the event weather becomes severe during the day, parents will be called individually if school dismisses early.
