Parent OrientationShortly after your child begins attended Global Montessori Academy, you will be scheduled for a New Parent Orientation with the director. If, at any time, you feel the need to refresh yourself regarding GMA policies and procedures, please contact the director to attend another orientation. Montessori ParentingMontessori parent education classes are offered during the spring semester for those who are interested. Discussions are led by experienced GMA families and are excellent places to connect with like-minded parents. Our main objective is to acquaint parents with Montessori education and parenting tecniques, and to impart specific principles that the parents may then apply to their own situations. The class will be an informal discussion format, relying on the collective experience of the participants to provide a framework for examining the Montessori approach. The main objective of the class is to acquaint parents with Montessori insights, and to impart specific principles that parents may then apply to their own situations. Syllabus:
