Support Curriculum
United Nations Global Peace Curriculum
Based on the work and writings of former Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, Dr. Robert Muller, the Global Peace Curriculum encourages an expanded consciousness of individual, national and world relationships. The Curriculum utilizes a right brain/left brain approach, fully tapping the student's creative, intuitive senses as well as the logical, rational abilities.
In learning about a variety of cultural and religious traditions, children learn appreciation, tolerance and respect. In studying the structure of the universe - from galaxies to atoms - they experience the vastness and wonder of which we are a part. In studying our planet's precious natural resources, children learn both respect and responsibility of caring for our earth.
GMA believes that education for global cooperation and peacemaking is imperative for our children. The Global Peace Curriculum enables children to understand themselves as planetary citizens who have an important role to play in the future of planet Earth.
